Calling all “Hands-in-the-Soil” Volunteers
Our CCC Community Garden needs YOU!

Garden Hours:

Wed Nov 5th 3-5pm Work Crew-let’s rock’n roll in the rock garden beds!

Bring: water, gloves, closed toe shoes, sun lotion, joy and enthusiasm!

Wed Nov 12th 3-5pm Work Crew

Wed Nov 19th 3-5pm Work Crew

Remember to Bring: water, gloves, closed toe shoes, sun lotion,

NOTE: all Wed work dates are subject to weather conditions …

Nov 2008 Projects:

  1. Lasagna Gardening- rock garden beds
  2. Rake path way cinders to garden beds
  3. Replace hand cart wheels

Donations in Oct:

  1. Leaves by Jerry O’Connor and Al Nichols
  2. Manure by Bryan Bates and Tish Purdy
  3. Black Cinder by CCC facilities & Crew

Supplies Needed:

‘T’ poles, gloves, hand spades

Wood chips, Chicken wire, Bird netting

Bed signs, straw bales

Herb seeds, manure barley seeds

Plant tags, Marigold seeds, rye seeds

Nasturtium seeds, $$$ donations, Corporation sponsorships

2x4s, plywood, nails

Three locks with same key or combo
